Add a new identifier

The useMango™ chrome extension helps to identify the identifiers that you need to add to your tests. It automatically picks up different selection strategies for the identifiers you have selected. Once you have selected the most appropriate strategies, you can save it and add as identifiers to step parameters.

To Add an Identifier

  1. Connect to useMango™ server and configure the application and page.
  2. Use the inspect element tool to select the element that you want to pick and click on the + icon next to Page identifiers in useMango™ panel.
  3. The pop-up window would display the available strategies for the selected element.
  4. Select the most appropriate strategy from the list available.
  5. Click Save to add the identifier to useMango™.
