Cloning Projects in useMango™

Cloning a project in useMango™ copies all associated resources - such as folders, tests, composite/scripted/scanned components, data variables, etc., into the newly cloned project.

Please note that this feature is exclusively accessible to account administrators via the useMango™ App Website.

Project cloning can be done by accessing the Administration tab on the App Website:

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to useMango™ App Website.
  2. Log in to the website using your email address and password.
  3. Once logged in, hover over the Profile Icon and select Administration from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the Clone option under the Action dropdown.
  5. Select the Project option under the Entity dropdown.
  6. From the list of projects displayed, select the one you intend to clone.
  7. Click on the Next button.
  8. Finally, confirm your selection and initiate the cloning process by clicking on the Submit button.
  9. The project cloning process may require a few minutes to finish. The user will receive an email notification once it is done.

To ensure a smooth cloning process, keep in mind that project names should be under 38 characters. If a project name exceeds this limit, the project won’t be cloneable until its name is shortened.
