Duplicate a test

This topic describes how to duplicate a test in useMango™.

To duplicate existing tests

Users can duplicate a single test or multiple tests from the same folder. Follow the steps below to perform the duplication:

  1. Navigate to the Tests tab.
  2. Click on the folder where the tests exist.
  3. Select the checkbox next to each test you want to duplicate.
  4. Right-click on the test (or any one of the selected tests if multiple).
  5. Choose the Copy here option from the context menu.

On duplicating a test, a new test will be created in the Tests tab in the same name with a suffix ‘_Clone’. Test steps, and variables will all be cloned to the new test and the assignee of the test will be changed to Nobody. The test can be edited without affecting the orginal test in useMango™.
